THE ARCHITECT

Proverbs 03: 05-08

I builded my own house
made from the stuff
and the glorious junk
of my young world.

I builded my own house
made from lowered self esteem
disobedience ... misunderstandings ...
unfairmanship and pride.

I builded my own house
on an unsteady foundation
of words, gambles, hopes
missing values and lies,

and
just like He said it would
my house fell down.
I builded it without Him
and my house fell down.
